S. Brandeis Crawford, * 1955 in London, Master of Fine Arts, lives and works in Vienna. She puts lines and planes on paper and canvas displaying a keen sense of colour.  Her work gives the impression of movement, but then the action freezes leaving a strong impression engraved in the viewers´mind.  The content of her work combines personal experience of the world around her with wider world issues creating expressive and complex works of art. She shows a remarkable aesthetic approach as well as putting forward a philosophic argumentation on Homo sapiens and Homo ludens.

Many of her graphics and paintings have been exhibited internationally since 1982.
