1968 Travels with mother and grandmother to Europe; they settle in Vienna.

1973-75 Returns to London. Undergraduate studies in economic history, English literature, German, art history and applied art at North Warwickshire College of Technology and Art, England.

1975-78 Intermediate diploma at the Institute of Linguists. Studies at the Painting School and the University of England, Birmingham. Receives his Bachelor of Arts.

1979-82 Studies painting at the Royal College of Art, London. Receives his Master of Fine Arts.

1981 Fellowship to Paris.

1982 Picker Fellowship at the art school in Kingston.

1983 Moves to Vienna.
