Artists in Residence 2006

Renate Kordon, an internationally recognised artist, is engaged in work on the subject The shaman woman from the stone age as a figure of light:  the dancing Venus from Galgenberg. A light installation.

In an associative context, a film will be made: Haute Couture  (working title) has pieces of clothing flying in the air. Through the air. While they fly up, life appears to invest them: they turn into beings in their own right, they have long shed all memory of the women who wore them. Those figures produce their own imaginary dance.
